Another year scouting the route of the most extreme, brutal rally, which is also the most beautiful, breathtaking rally in the world: the Dakar. We wouldn’t wish the experience on anyone, but we heartily recommend it.
Horacio Cabilla, a specialist in extreme events, had both the good fortune and misfortune of accompanying the Dakar explorers on their crossing of the Saudi Arabian desert. A month bumping along in a 4×4 as one of the family.
We were with David Castera, director of the Dakar, who showed us the ins and outs of the toughest rally in the world. And Edo Mossi, the sports coordinator, to see for ourselves how the roadbook takes shape. Thank you for making us part of it.
